Our Breathable PUL is same soft polyester knit used for our Classic PUL, but laminated with a 1 mil layer of waterproof, breathable co-polyester film. The microporous coating allows for dispersal of moisture vapors, which helps keep the body cool.

This fabric would be an excellent choice for activewear and lighweight jackets, waterproof mattress pads, sleeping bags and all styles of waterproof cloth diapers, diaper covers, and reusable menstrual pads.

 

Breathable PUL is especially good for use in diapers for babies that have excessive diaper rash problems or other skin related issues. (These diapers MUST be changed frequently, as the condensation from the wet diaper will re-condense and cause the diaper outer to become wet more quickly than non-breathable PUL).  More exceptional uses are for items for those that are bedridden.
